DESCRIPTION:Join us for Networking at Lunch and hear from our guest speaker\, Bridgett Massengill\, President & CEO of Thrive Regional Partnership! You do not have to be a Chamber member to attend.\n\n\n\nBridgett Massengill serves as President & CEO of Thrive Regional\n\nPartnership\, an independent nonprofit dedicated to inspiring responsible\n\ngrowth across a 16-county\, tri-state Chattanooga region in the southeastern\n\nUnited States. She has been with Thrive since its inception in 2012 as the\n\ninaugural regional planning process\, then called Thrive 2055\, and stewarded\n\nit through the creation of a standalone entity as the Founding President &\n\nCEO in 2016 where she remains.\n\nHer nearly 30-year career spans from serving as executive director of a\n\ndowntown development authority in northeast Tennessee\, to establishing\n\nher own consulting business and partnering with the National Main Street\n\nCenter\, to supporting the Tennessee General Assembly as a legislative\n\nbudget analysis specialist for both the House and the Senate. She holds a\n\nbachelor's degree in political science from University of Tennessee at\n\nChattanooga\, and a master's degree in public administration: planning &\n\ndevelopment from East TN State University. More recently\, she is a proud\n\nFellow of the Appalachian Leadership Institute\, a leadership and economic\n\ndevelopment training program of the Appalachian Regional Commission\, and\n\nholds a practitioners certificate in Strategic DoingTM from the Center for\n\nLearning and Professional Development at the University of North Alabama.
